Site Components
The site on the corner of Toongarra Rd and Beirnie St has been turned from grazing land to a multi-component concrete production facility that includes
- concrete manufacturing,
- aggregate holding,
- precast and post- tensioned products
- workshop facilities
- central office
- with further capacity to provide other products.
The site is being developed in multiple stages and include municipal works including road widening, traffic lights, sewer connections and power supply upgrades.
Works have been designed to progress over multiple stages to meet the needs of Wagners.
Design and Project Management
Our role in this site is to take the previously prepared DA drawings and facilitate the design using
- in-house design skills with batch plants,
- offer engineering components with select civil and structural engineering,
- engage surveyors and the like with other support specialists
- work with known plumbers and electricians
- work with Wagners to coordinate the plant supply
- gain all approvals
- oversee the construction including monthly meetings and
- respond to site requests.
Design Scope
The design scope includes the arrangements on site, the hydraulic design, compliance items for building approval and operational works approvals.
Using subconsultants project management works include oversight and design management of
- road widening works
- sewer connections
- traffic signals
- geotechnical coordination with expansive soils
- water management on site including site runoff, process, potable and recycled water
- project staging
- construction planning
- contractor oversight and pricing review
