Given the pandemic situation and potential delays, a cost-plus arrangement was considered the best approach to achieve the desired timeframe. This arrangement ensured that the project budgets were maintained even when contractors were unable to deliver on time. To further mitigate risks, necessary contract cuts were made early in the project to ensure that the transformation could be completed within the desired timeframe. 

The transformation involved a complete overhaul of the building's interior and exterior design to make it a professional and welcoming showroom. The design included various features, such as ample space to showcase different types of medical equipment, including beds, walkers, wheelchairs, and other lifetime phases from for paediatric to palliative care. 

The interior design was customised to create an efficient flow for customers and employees, and a pleasant atmosphere that catered to the target market who would typically come with some form of carer. The exterior design of the building was transformed to create a professional look and feel that would draw in customers. 

During the transformation, the project team faced numerous challenges, including supply chain issues, labour shortages, and weather disruptions. However, they remained committed to delivering the project within the given timeframe and managed to overcome these challenges by employing various tactics, such as collaborating closely with the contractors, implementing contingency plans, and monitoring the progress closely. 

Despite these challenges, the transformation was completed on time, and some aesthetic treatments were added to the building to enhance its overall look and feel. The end result was a professional and welcoming showroom that met the needs of Active Medical Supplies and their customers.
